Safe Pets Safe Families work with people and pets in crises to improve outcomes and reduce the occurrence of surrender, animal abuse, neglect and euthanasia. SPSF help to keep pets of individuals or families going through difficult times, due to homelessness, mental health, domestic violence or sickness, united with their owners. Through their dedicated network of volunteers, Safe Pets Safe Families provide a range of support services including temporary foster care of pets, vet services and donated goods. They also offer a range of outreach programs to provide education on important topics such as foster care, vet care in times of need, reducing animal abuse and domestic violence.
